Artist's Statement by E. Trace Drury

Artist's Statement:

I have all these little stories in my head, these little vignettes; I use all these toys to stage these stories.

This idea is always evolving. The paintings are becoming a little more illustrated, the drama is a little more pronounced. I'm working more on telling a tale now, rather then just introducing the character itself.

I'm presenting dark, slightly unsettling theater performed by bizarre little creatures I've rescued from the trash...

They all have a story they want to tell...
